The later that day Amanda and my aunt came to the hospital. My aunt was So angry. " Who did thiss?? Huh!" She asked. I told her everything . The doctor came in. "Doctor is he shot that bad ??" Asked Amanda. "He was shot four times"replied the doctor. "Whaaat ?? Fooouurr?" Shouted my aunt. " Miss you gotta relax! It's nothing big they missed his lungs, kidneys and heart. His going to be discharged soon." Replied the doctor. " Thank you God for saving him! Have u told the police?" My aunt asked . "We did and them came and talked to him and ask him some few questions." Said the doctor. "Ohhh thank u doctor. God bless u ." Said my aunt." U are welcome Mam " he said as he left. " So aunt... Ahh...how I put this? Have you noticed that Im a die hard??" I said. They both laughed "yah u just don't die"said Amanda. A nurse Came in with a wheelchair " morning mam. How are you?" Greeted the nurse. " I'm fine thank u " replied my aunt. "Mam we are just going to run some few tests and see if he's ok and ready to go home!" Stated the nurse." Wow that's great news!" Said my aunt. " Hy Tyler I will need u to wake up slowly and get on the wheelchair"the doctor asked me as she helped me up and set me on the wheelchair. " We'll be done in less than 4 hour"she said as we went out.

I opened my eyes And looked around" where am I ?" I asked as I tied waking up. "Wooohh take it easy or else you will open up your stitches!! U are in a hospital u were shot four times. I have to say u were lucky someone called for help as soon as possible" Said a nice beautiful lady who happened to be a nurse. "Am I going to be fine?? Where's my aunt ? I wanna see my aunt please borrow me your phone please" I asked the nurse."take it easy please. Breath in and out!" She said. " U don't understand! If they find out that I'm still alive they will finish me up I gotta leave this place!!" I shouted. Two police officers came in." How are u nurse? Can we have a word with the boy?" They asked. " Yes u can. I will give u guys some space" she said as she went out. I looked at the officer's " What do you want now?" I asked." Well it seems like we meet again. Now tell me what happened and don't u dare lie to us or u will be arrested for giving me false information" he said." They came for me and they shot me that's what I remember"I explained." Who came for u? he asked. I then told him everything."ok boy it's not the first time meeting u . Do u remember the day u were arrested? I was there and I will call your aunt and tell her everything. Don't worry everything is under control u are safe here".he assured me that as they left.

They chased me. I went straight home unfortunately I never got a chance to get in the yard becos the gate was closed . I ran to this fast food corner . I went through a small whole at corner of the fence. I saw a train station and I ran straight to the train station . Suddenly I heard a gunshot I then stopped and turned back to them." Don't shoot ! Don't shoot !!" I shouted. "I'm really sorry for what happened to your brother!" I said. He looked straight into my eyes and he was breathing loudly."Now u die !" He said as he pointed the gun at me, I looked straight into his eyes and I was really scared and my body was shaking. He pulled the trigger. Bang! bang! bang ! I fell with my back. I tried to pull my head up but everything was painful and there was blood all over me. "Why?it was a mist... !!" I explained as I cried in pain. He looked straight into my eyes and pointed the gun at me. I looked at him with my eyes all watery and full of tears."F**k u!!*he said then pulled the trigger. Everything went dark

Chapter 9 (part¹)

I woke up around 2:15 p.m. I heard people talking in the sitting room and I woke up and went there . I found Amanda's friends. Everyone stopped and looked at me. "Hey guys"I said awkwardly. "hey Tyler " they replied. "Amanda where's your mom?" I asked ."she's sleeping"she replied. "Ohh ok I'm going to the shop to buy a cold drink. What flavor do u prefer?"I said. "Is lemon twist okay guys or maybe sprite "she asked her friends. "Sprite is fine"answered Linda. "Sprite it is then"I said as I went out.

When I reached the shop a group of boys were sitting there. "Hey guys"I said as a called the guy in the shop. "Can u give me cold drink sprite" I said. He gave it to me and I left . One of the boys called me . I turned back and looked at him and went there. "Yo what up?"I asked. "You've got a nerve. How can u not give us money for buying in this shop" he said as he looked at his friends waiting for them to laugh. No one laughed . "So how does it feel?"I asked him. "How does what feel ?" He asked back. "U said all of that hoping that your friends would laugh but they didn't"I said as I left."hey u stop there" he said but I didn't stop. On the way three boys stopped me they were angry and blazing in flames . I wondered what's wrong now I stopped and looked at the boys as they approached me . I then noticed something one of the boys had a gun and the other one was at the party and he was a friend of that guy I killed. I Started
Shaking the cold drink in my hands. " This is him !" Said the boy.. "So u killed my brother!!" The other one Said as he pushed me ."bro...bro...wait I can explain it was a mistake"I replied in fear . " Don't worry this is going to be a mistake too !"he said. I started opening the cold drink bit by bit and made sure that no one sees me. " Bro I pushed him that's it nothing else" I replied ."I'm going to show you what I do to people like you !" He shouted as he pointed the gun at me ."f**k bro no...no...no don't please" I pleaded with him. In my head I was like*I hope this plan works*. "Dude... Ok wait before u shoot ask the guy behind u he was at the party "I said. "Mdu is it true?" He asked him. I opened the cold drink and waited for him to look at me . "No he killed him"the boy replied. As he turned his face to me I splashed the cold drink in their eyes and he dropped the gun. I kicked the gun as far as I could and ran away.

The next morning the officer came to my cell."Wake up boy!" He shouted. "Wake up!!" he repeated. I woke up and looked at him said to him as I yawned "Do I have a visitor?" I asked." No, No there are visitors. You got bail u are going out"he replied. I went straight to the door and he opened , I stretched out my hands so that he can handcuff me. "Relax u are free to go " he said to me. "Thank you sir I" replied and went straight out. I found my aunt and Amanda waiting for me . "U have to go to court next week Tuesday"she said. I looked at her " ohhh , okk thanks"I replied. " It's time for us to go home so u can take a bath and eat "said Amanda. We went to the car and left. When we arrived home I went out of the car and went to open the door . When I saw the sport where everything happened I froze."Are u ok dude!" Asked Amanda. "Yeah I'm fine"I said as I went to the bathroom and went straight to the shower and opened warm water and set right there. I couldn't stop thinking about the incident that occured that day. A few minutes later I went out of the shower and went to my uncle's room and got my clothes."come and eat dude" said Amanda. I went to the sitting room as she came with the food and I ate. After eating Amanda looked at me. "So do u want to watch a movie??" She said. "Nah I'm tired let me take a nap" I replied as I stood up and went to the room.

When she arrived at the police station she saw Amanda sitting on the bench. She went straight to her and just before Amanda could say anything she gave her a hot clap"What were u thinking?"she shouted. "Look what you did. Someone is dead !!" She added. "Mom I can explain" said Amanda as she started crying again. "No need to explain because I already know everything. Where's Tyler??"Amanda's mom said. "He's... he's... he's in holding"answered Amanda. My aunt asked permission to come and see me and she was allowed to see me in the visitor room.
Meanwhile I was laying down on the bench thinking about what happened. How could I kill someone? Then suddenly a police officer came ."hey man wake up u have visitors!!" He said with a deep voice. In my mind I already knew who it was. I was shaking nervously and I couldn't stop thinking about what will she do or say. I went to the door as he unlocked the door and handcuffed me . We went to the room and when we got there they opened the door and I went in. She looked straight into my eyes . I could see the disappointment and tears behind her eyes. I gathered all the courage I had and went to join them.she looked at me and I had nothing to say ,it's like I had ran out of words and excuses. "Did they allow you to get bail??" She asked. "Yes they did" I said as I looked down. "How much is it??" She asked. "R5000 "I replied. "What???? Ok I will make sure you get out by the end of tomorrow" she said. I looked at her in my head I was like * Why did I allow that to happen now she has to go and get the money she has been saving to pay bail for me.* "Time up!!" shouted the officer. "Hang in there"she said as the officer handcuffed me and took me back to the holdings. I was crying on the way" I know many innocent boys like u who end up here" said the police officer." I heard the story, everyone says it was self-defense. Is it true??" He asked." Yes...yes it was but he wasn't suppose to die I just pushed him" I replied." U see my son sometimes one push is all it takes to ruin someone's life or your life" he said as he unlocked the handcuffs on my hands and opened the door. I went inside and he locked the door and walked away.

The floor was red, blood was all over the place everyone started screaming and some ran away. "Everyone shut the f**k up!!"I shouted as I called the ambulance. After some time the ambulance came and the police were following it. I slowly looked at Amanda as she was crying"move!! Move !!" Said the paramedics. Everyone was crying and had regrets."I'm afraid he's gone". They announced. Everyone screamed and cried even more.." Who did this ?" Asked the police officers. I had no choice but to say it's me but before I could say anything Amanda looked at me with those big watery eyes and whispered "Don't do it " I looked at her and said."the truth always comes out". At this point no one had answered the police officer's question."WHO DID THIS!!" He shouted. " I did it"I answered . He looked at me straight in to my eyes and said "Son u are under arrest anything u say or do will be used against u in the court of law!" As he threw me against the wall and handcuffed me. Amanda was crying and screaming my name I fell like life was loosing me. I was taken to the holding sells and Amanda was taken in for questioning. The sun came up my aunt came back from work. As she was approaching the house she saw a police van and ran towards the house she found the forensic van outside . When she got inside the house all she could see was blood. "Abantwana bami!!" she screamed. One of the police officers explained everything to her. She went straight to the police station

30 minutes later after she made those phone calls. I had a knock at the door . She jumped to open the door as she opened the door a group of people were outside about thirty people having cooler boxes full of alcohol. That same minute I stood there like a statue not knowing what to do. " Amanda!!" I called as I was pulling her into my uncle's room. "what's wrong?" She asked."nothing it's just that I'm not sure about what's going to happen here" I replied. "Relax my mom won't find out plus I'm trying to welcome my cousin! Here take a sip " she said as she poured me a glass of vodka. "Ohk if u say so "I agreed. The party went on and everything was lit there were girls, a lot of booze and hubby bubbles. We partied and partied. Then Something caught my attention some guy was harassing Amanda I went there in like a blaze."Yow dude knock it off . Can't u see that she doesn't want u?" I confronted the guy. "F**k u " he said as he pushed me. Everything stopped everyone looked at us ."Dude get out ."I shouted as I was pushing him out . Him took out a knife and swinged it across my face i went down and the knife went straight to one of Amanda's friends and stabbed her in the stomach. As he tried to run I throw a glass straight to his head. As he went do he hit a corner of the table and never moved again.
