Firstly, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ziveze Mbongi Team for giving us the opportunity to showcase our talent at the Ziveze Mbongi Schools Competition 2026. It was truly an amazing experience filled with beautiful moments, growth, and memories we will always cherish.
This video is a reflection of our day as Siba Lwam Arts Choir, a family beyond the stage. These are the moments that remind us why we started this journey: to grow, inspire, and share our passion through music and art.
Short clips of our performances will be shared soon. For now, we wanted to share this special family moment with everyone who follows, supports, and believes in us wholeheartedly.

There are moments in our journey where the spirit needs to be awakened again. ❤️

Today, while waiting for abanye bafike, our spirits were down, but our Director Yakha Mlali gave us a moment to reconnect through music. Each member was given a chance to pour out their heart, express themselves, and find their own voice within the song.

Through this process, we were reminded that music is not only about singing the notes it is about building a relationship with the spirit of the song, understanding its story, and allowing it to live through us.

At Siba Lwam Arts Choir, we continue to learn, grow, improvise, and discover the deeper meaning behind every sound we create.

Music is our language. Music is our connection. 🎶🤎

Umoya we Ngoma uyaphila kuthi,one of our Founder’s songs , “Inkenqe”, written and composed by Yakha Mlali Mlali🇿🇦 .A King Among Kings and Queens South Africa you are rich 🇿🇦

The voice you hear in the background is his voice guiding us through the song . This song is a reminder of a spiritual journey of ukwenza ngokuthanda komoya nokuzamkela (moving according to the will of the spirit and accepting yourself).

“Inkenqe” is not a song meant to create fear or trauma. It is a reminder, a calling, and a gift sisiphiwo sethu sonke. It carries that powerful and beautiful warning that reaches you when you have lost your way, bringing you back to where you are meant to be.

We will be sharing more of this special piece so that its message can reach the hearts and places it is meant for.

While our Founder continues to push his first African Folk Music single, we honour the roots, the stories, and the spirit behind every song he creates.
