Some of the best teachers I've met on my journey have been Nguni cattle. 🐄

For three months I went back and forth, capturing and photographing them — and what peaceful, magnificent beings they are. 🙏

Those big brown eyes. The steady, centred presence from which they move through the world. Observing everything. Chewing slowly and intentionally. Standing for hours in a patch of grass. Simply being one with Nature.

Something was quietly instilled in me during that time. I sometimes close my eyes and imagine I'm seeing life through the eyes of an Nguni.

This beautiful bull allowed me to sit beside him while I chatted away — and we had a real conversation that day. 💛

I went on to create a series called '7 Sacred Nguni' — do take a look on my website and share in my bliss. 🤍
