After a long wait, the journey is finally unfolding.
I am excited to announce that GOGO OPHETH'IYEZA, written and composed by Yakha Mlali, is on the way.
Thank you to everyone who has been patient, supportive, and constantly encouraging this vision. Your belief in this work has carried me through every stage of the creative process.
In the coming weeks, I will be sharing promotional visuals, public relations photographs, behind-the-scenes vlogs, and exclusive content as we count down to the release. I invite you to walk this journey with me from the very beginning until the song reaches the hearts it was created for.

When our ancestors grow weary and the trusted spirits become silent, may the King of Kings strengthen us to carry the message where it needs to reach.
Though we are young, grant us the spirit of wisdom, for at times we lose our way as Ulutsha. Our elders are gradually returning to the soil, while we continue our journey through this life. The responsibility they leave behind is heavy, yet it calls us to rise, create, preserve, and honour what has been entrusted to us.

Rawness remains at the heart of everything we create at Siba Lwam Arts. This marks the first production directed by members of the choir themselves, under the guidance of Artistic Director Yakha Mlali and the Production's Music Director.

Through a multidisciplinary artistic approach, we are crafting a work that reflects the truth, spirit, and raw beauty of our land. 🇿🇦

More than a performance, this is a celebration of authentic storytelling, collective leadership, and the voices of a new generation of artists. We look forward to bringing this powerful piece to the stage later this year.
