Your age, body size and shape are all accepted in our group of social girls, who enjoy getting together to learn the beautiful, ancient art of belly dancing along with with fun and interesting fusions. From the moment I could walk, the stage has felt like my second home. I’ve spent my life performing and pouring my heart into every moment under the lights. On stage, I feel like the most confident version of myself and I love being able to share that with an audience.

I’ve taken part in various shows and have had the opportunity to perform at events throughout the years. I love being able to play around with different genres as I love to sing FOR the audience.

I can only hope that there's always a place, a spotlight, and an audience waiting, because as long as I can sing, I’ll never stop.

Gigi is a belly dancer based in Makhanda, Eastern Cape. Gigi has a life-long love of dance, with a background in various types of dance. She strives to make dancing a part of every day life.

Sharing this art form with fellow dancers and audiences is an amazing source of upliftment. She enjoys that belly dancing is a creative outlet for her love of dance, music, as well as costume and jewellery design.

She was part of a group who performed with highly acclaimed Ukrainian dancer Julia Farid at the the recent MBDSA Gala show in Gauteng.

At KS Dance Studio, dancers can immerse themselves in a wide range of group and private classes including Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Stretch and Strengthening, as well as custom choreography to develop artistry and performance confidence.

And we’re especially excited to announce our new Aerial Hoop classes – a thrilling addition that combines strength, grace, and fun in the air all whilst getting a full body workout!

Carmen Gee, from Burnt Cherry Entertainment, has been dancing fire and LED props for over a decade. From circus-themed bars in Greece to compounds in the Congo, her talents have taken her far and wide. Currently, she is content building a flow arts community in East London, as well as producing shows and learning new skills.
