In2 House Gathering (IHG) is a pop-up monthly event which takes place on the first Sunday of a new month. The event was birthed from random in-house sessions where a group DJs from eNtuzuma, north of Durban used to meet and host young events. Subsequently, IHG was initially launched on the 5th of November 2017.
IHG is hosted by Bongani ‘’Sokisi-SA’’ Soko and curated by Mnqobi ‘’Kidd Mnqobzin’’ Mbhele. It is also backed by other members who are as involved as the above-mentioned.
In2 House Gathering currently has a residency at a restaurant called Fashion Cafe @36 which is located at Ntuzuma, E section. Fashion Cafe is a very nice hangout venue with its vintage feel in decor and design. It is a restaurant with a homely setup and the finest cuisine. The setting of the venue is ideal with the In2 House Gathering’s motto: ‘’ Where there’s House, there’s unity’’.
IHG is a proud follower and representative of the underground movement. Its mission is to grow, solidify and safeguard the culture of the underground in our area, and in Durban as a whole.
