Canvas Art Canvas Art is an owner run business, operating in Durban since June 2009. Nico Stofberg has made Can Collections are arranged for the many "out of towners".

Each canvas is made to order and delivered (in the greater Durban area) within a few days. Wooden stretcher frames:
All stretcher frames have 90 Degree angles which ensures perfectly straight edges. Canvas:
The 410g, 100% cotton canvas is made for Canvas Art by a Local Mill. Primer:
Canvas Art uses a fast drying Acrylic Gesso which is flexible and has ideal tooth for both oil and acrylic based p

aints. With 3 coats of gesso applied to each canvas, this ensures that there is no seepage through the canvas. Each canvas is sanded perfectly to create a smooth finish suitable for water-colours, acrylics, oils and charcoal mediums. Splines:
Canvas Art does not make use of the Rubber / Vinyl / Wooden Splines as they can pop-out over time which would result in your canvas becoming baggy and loose. Your canvas would then need to be re-stretched.
