We’re bringing international and local artists together for a weekend of Salsa, Kizomba, Bachata, Urban Kizz, and Konpa workshops.

Whether you’re refining your moves or exploring a new style, our passionate instructors will guide you through rhythm, connection, and culture. 💃🕺

We’re also excited to host the Angolence Pre-Party as part of the Durban Spring Weekender - blending two celebrations into one unforgettable weekend!

🎶 What can you expect from the Durban Spring Weekender in terms of music? 🎶

First off, we’ve got an awesome line-up of amazing DJs, each bringing their own unique flavor. They’ll be spinning a full mix of styles: from L.A. and Cuban Salsa, to Dominican and Sensual Bachata, plus all the Kizomba flavors like Urban Kiz, Semba, Tarraxinha, and Ghetto Zouk, and of course, the sexy sounds of Konpa. In short, it’s going to be a dance floor paradise with something for everyone!

We are shocked and heartbroken at the news of the untimely passing of Sharmain.

She was a Red Salsa student who eventually became a teacher and was a valuable member and friend of the Durban SBK community.

Our condolences goes out her family and we pray Gods peace in your time of mourning.

We will have a catering company set up a big braai stand with crockery, tongs, tables and chairs, and you may bring your meat for the braai, salads, rolls to share. You can also bring your own booze and soft drinks.
