Welcome to my Reborn Nursery - Amelia’s Babies. I am a proud mother and grandmother and live with my husband, 4 dogs, 2 cats and a bunny on a breathtaking gorge in the beautiful suburb of Kloof, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. I discovered re-borning in 2010 quite by chance. I saw these babies on the internet and I just had to try it. Before I started with the babies I immersed myself in the art of
oil painting, specializing in commissioned portraits and paintings of children. I was fortunate to do commissions for some local “celebrities” in South Africa. I also played and created with stained glass, ceramic painting, pottery, needlework and loads of other arts & crafts. I quickly got carried away by these reborn babies and as a self-taught artist, I have studied, researched and invested immense amounts of time into this fascinating form of art. I am a current International Praii*se Award holder. I take pride in my work and love what I do. I have babies living all over the world. For me, the learning never ends and I am constantly experimenting with new ideas and techniques in order to improve and grow in this form of art.
