" HomoSavers joined the march from the Durban City Hall to the Durban Magistrate Court with the LGBTQIA+ community regarding the murder cases's of people from LGBTI community working hand in hand with the Lower South coast lgbti community projects rural and KZN legislation .

The aim of this march was to bring justice closer to the victims by ensuring that court cases are held closer to the victims area to make to make it easier for them to attend their cases. Most victims are not able to attend their cases because of financial difficulties which leads to case being closed with no justice served.
A number of people from our community are assaulted on a daily basis because of their sexuality. Sanele Zuke our Founder was assaulted in South Beach Durban for his sexuality and his case was not taken seriously by the SAPS.
The march is to not fight for our rights but for families and society as a whole to accept us for who we are and not get shocked when they are within our presence. We have a strong desire for Churches to intervene and work with us to defend theme and help our families to understand who we are because if our families understand us it will be easier for Society to understand us "
