⚠️ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT ⚠️
Nonkululeko Shiburi is a 27-year-old, phenomenal female saxophone player from Soweto. She is classically trained and was with the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra Company (JYOC) from 2008-2015. She started playing the saxophone at the Johannesburg Symphonic Wind Band (JSWB), where she developed her technique and discipline of classic music. She stayed on the classical journey untill 2018, Then, took a break to pursue Psychology, however music drew her back , as she is now at the Central Johannesburg College (CJC) Crown Mines pursuing a Diploma in Music , Performance, Popular Music.
Nkuli Buri has worked with various artists, talent, bands, companies and organisations through out her music journey:

•National Arts Festival Grahamstown with the JSWB (2012)
•Cape Town Band competition with the JSWB (2015)
•Participated in the Unisa Wind Band (2018-2018)
[BANDS]
•Formely known as the professionals, all-female band, currently goes by BOLD (2018)
•Participated in a band called Ses'MaAfrica in 2020, in the wonderful experience of Ses'MaAfrica in the garden. The band came 3rd place in Puisano Live Music virtual competition on the 27th of September 2020.
•Participated in a wonderful live recording for OBERon on the project: Igoduka :The Traveler. (June 2018)
•The Arts & Culture's UJ Weekend of Jazz accompanying Nomi Supasta (August 2019)
•She is currently in the all-female band and community; Cherry On Top.
•Bass_Sings and friends Band
•Selected for the National Arts Council: Mmatema's all-female project after a successful audition.
