Art de Triomphe is currently displaying a selection of Hildegards' fantastic art work at our Art Gallery.
Hildegard spent her early childhood in England and Northern Ireland. She completed her schooling in South Africa. Hildegard studied Fine Art, specialising in printmaking, at the University of KwaZulu Natal. She has been working as a professional artist since 1998. Her work has been displayed throughout South Africa, as well as Europe and Australia.
Hildegard specialises in hand-coloured intaglios. She aspires to capture the fragile beauty and humour of life, caught and held in a moment. She likes to exploring with strong lines and rich colours that are enhanced by gold leaf and embossing. She is currently based in Johannesburg.
