Sondag na ons middag slapie en homemade milkshakes gaan stap ons met Willow in die dennebos hier in ons dorp. Op n stadium kom Hannah (7jr) na my toe met die drie takkies wat sy gepluk het en sê: “mamma kyk hoe mooi is dié, sal jy dit asseblief vir my verf?”
Ek sit en d**k nou vanoggend hoe ons kinders gevorm word deur ons, dit wat ons doén en dit waarvan ons hou. Hul leer deur dit wat hulle by ons sien.

Hierdie is vir jou Hannah-lief. ❤️

When do you feel happiest?

For me, it's definitely while I draw or paint. I could do this for hours, and not even realise that time has passed because I've been so blissfully engrossed in a state of flow 🎨🖌

One of my biggest goals for the next month is to harness more of this beautiful feeling before I start to pack up for the festive season celebrations with my family.

🐾 she is a great supporter of all occasions at HQ
🐾 she is chairman of the studio's welcoming committee
🐾 her favourite toys are the kids' stuffed animals
🐾 snack of choice: an icy cold smoothie
