6-BAR COMPETITION CHALLENGE

We challenge all our show jumpers to enter for this exciting event!!!

This competition is specially aimed to raise money for the Cart Horse Protection Association. The most daring riders can enter for this class, and it consists of multiple jumps one after another, it’s 6 jumps in a row with 1 stride between jumps. The first jump will start out low (eg. 60cm), the following jump will be a little higher (eg. 70cm) and each jump will go a little higher. The rider will then try to clear the jumps and go as high as possible without knocking the jumps. We will take bets from spectators on who you think will clear the most jumps. The rider who clears the highest jump, will receive 50% of the betting money total, and the other 50% will go to the charity. The person who bets on the winning horse will also receive a rosette and a nice prize.

We'll be having a fun Show Jumping Practice Show, where there will be classes for all levels and all ages of riders.

Not only will we be having a fun fancy dress competition for the horse and rider who dressed up the most creatively to celebrate Womens Day, but we'll also have TWO Derby classes (Xcountry and Show Jumping Jumps combined...)

The Winner for our 70cm Derby class will be walking away with R500 CASH proudly sponsored by Mahindra Motors Cape Gate.
