I recently finished a drawing two drawings of this beautiful dog that passed away.

Medium: Derwent pastels on Pastelmat paper
Extra detail: Faber-Castell colour pencils to add the finer detail
Time invested: Around 8–10 hours of layering, blending, and adding fine detail

I absolutely loved the process of building up the textures and watching it slowly become more realistic.

She may be gone, but she will live forever in the hearts of her owners. Such a privilege to be trusted with this project.
