We’re excited to welcome Tiny T to our upcoming DJ networking session at Artscape! 🎧🔥

Join us on 24 October, from 11am to 1pm, for an opportunity to connect, learn and gain insight from a DJ who has spent over 14 years honing her craft and establishing herself as a household name in the South African music scene. Known for her versatility, adaptability and professionalism, Tiny T knows how to read the room and deliver quality sets across different environments.

Her impressive list of appearances includes ULTRA South Africa 2018, Rocking the Daisies 2019, KFM Vinyl Classics in 2019 and 2023, FNB One Run 2019, Cape Town Carnival from 2017–2019, and KDAY from 2022–2024. She has also performed at numerous brand activations, media launches and major events, including the SPAR Women's Run in 2023, 2024 and 2026.

Legends of all sorts are joining us for our workshop on 24 October! 🔥🎧

Next up, we’re shining a light on the one and only Roger The Dodger! With over 40 years in the DJ industry, Rodger has seen and done it all — from rocking packed clubs to bringing the vibes to weddings, staff parties, birthdays and countless other celebrations. A seasoned DJ and promoter, he’s also been behind some of Cape Town’s most successful events, helping shape the city’s vibrant entertainment scene. Since 2005, he’s been the owner and operator of Zodiac Sound & Lighting, delivering professional sound, lighting and unforgettable party experiences.

This is what it’s all about — learning from those who have put in the years, built their names and helped shape our industry. A wealth of knowledge, experience and stories to share with the next generation of DJs.

We went well beyond two hours today tweaking and refining those mixing challenges, but seeing everyone get inspired as key concepts started to click made it all worthwhile.

There’s something special about that moment when you move beyond simply doing something and actually begin to understand why it works. Suddenly, the possibilities open up, the confidence grows, and the creative ideas start flowing.

That’s what the process is all about. Not just learning techniques, but understanding the principles behind them so you can experiment, develop your own approach and push your creativity further.

Sometimes the smallest adjustments lead to the biggest breakthroughs. 🎧

completed our course as a capable DJ with experience playing at clubs and events. However, he made the decision to expand his skill set both during and after completing the course, showing that learning never really stops. Our job as instructors is to share everything we know, provide the tools, pass on the knowledge, and help our students take their skills to the next level.

Ultimately, the goal is not just to create good DJs, but to empower the next generation to become even better than us. That’s how the culture grows, evolves and continues to thrive.
