I recently visited the beautiful new showroom in Paarden Island!

This is a great space to not only view their beautiful products but also to meet the team and see the weavers and other artisans at work!

I love how sustainable this brand is! The colourful fabric used in their products is made from upcycled t-shirt offcuts lovingly woven by hand in Madagascar.

Their beautiful Malawian baskets come from weavers in Northern Malawi, creating employment opportunities and keeping this ancient craft alive!

We had such a delicious lunch ! 💛

I love Middle Eastern food and have been hearing great things about this place! We decided to stick with the veggie options, of which there were plenty! The Israeli chef was in the kitchen working his magic, all the dishes were flavourful & delish!

I tried the refreshing Paloma cocktail, grapefruit juice and tequila, they also have a slushy cocktail with Orzo. Sounds dangerous! 😂

Such a great vibe, will definitely be back! 🙏

We had such a lovely evening at , the New Mexican restaurant on Heritage Square! Great food, vibe & service! 🌮👏

We loved the Margaritas! The Mole was a big hit and the ceviche was not only delicious but also a work of art.

The Brisket taco and Brisket main were also winners! What a great new spot to have on Bree street, bringing the vibe back! 🔥👏

You will now find the lovely guys from Bliss Foodtruck and Karibu Coffee South Africa in van Riebeek Park on weekdays! 🧡

This is the perfect spot to meet a friend for a coffee and get some fresh air! ☕️

On Thursday mornings you will also find Ladles of Love in the park with their “Feed The Soil” initiative. Convert your food waste into free compost for community farmers by purchasing a composting bucket and handing it back in on a Thursday morning. You can also buy veg grown by the community farmers! 💚

Die Geuwels Fantasties! 🧡

We had such a lovely breakfast Geuwels, the new restaurant Vergenoegd Löw The Wine Estate in Stellenbosch!

This is a great spot to line the tummy before heading out on a wine route! Definitely going back to try the lunch menu & the jaffles. They are also offering picnics.

The estate is looking so lovely and we heard from chef Drikus Brink that a new restaurant will be opening on the property called Clara’s.

FYI, they are no longer offering duck parades! 🦆🦆

Step away from busy Somerset Road into the tranquil courtyard cucina_goodman, the Italian bistro at the beautiful new home of the .

We shared some of the fresh & delicious pastas & salads for lunch. Such super friendly service! I’m definitely going back for breakfast!

On-site parking is available, entrance from Somerset Road.
