Whimsical Collection

Whimsical Collection Whimsical Collection is a South African studio practice by artist Dezireë Smith. The Whimsical Collection is a range of high-spirited decor.

Original wildlife paintings are translated into carefully made objects, created locally and shaped by a long-standing commitment to conservation and craft. Playful images of mammals, reptiles, and birds combined with educational information to raise awareness of conservation with the future generation. By using recycled paper for the limited edition prints, we hope to encourage greener habits for

all who are swept away by this humorous voyage. Original paintings and sketches are inspired by the ever-growing list of endangered species and the need to motivate our children to live in harmony with the natural world. Limited edition prints available at the following outlets:
- Kalk Bay Co-op, Main Road, Kalk Bay
