Femme/Ascendency

Ménage à Trois is pleased to bring you it’s second, boundary pushing, performance event: Femme/Ascendency. Celebrating everything that is risque and provocative about burlesque, Femme/Ascendency honours Womxn in all her forms. From the erotic, to the political, Femme/Ascendancy invites its performers and audiences to revel in all that is magical, sensual and empowering about the feminine divine.

The Velvet Letter, Scar-lit Hearts and Jezzy Belle, play dual roles as co-producers and the core cast of the show along with their faithful Ball Boy Jay Fox. This dynamic trio will be joined by 2 new guest artists each evening, hand selected from Cape Town’s favourite performers to entertain you with an extravaganza of exciting and dazzling new acts!

On Thursday 9th you can catch the delightful exploits of Ziggy and Betty Behave.On Friday 10th Lady Danger and the Blue Haired Betty will grace our stage and on Saturday 11th you will be seduced by the Red Baroness and Sweet Cheeks. So we invite you to choose your favourites, or join us for them all, and indulge in the sensory feast that is Femme/Ascendancy.
