Do this before you stretch or start your flexibility training! 🔥
If you’re looking for an easy way to incorporate cardio into your week, adding just 5–20 minutes of dynamic cardio before your flexibility training is one of the most effective times to do it 👏🏽
Not only will your body feel warmer, more prepared, and ready to move deeper into your stretches, but the increased circulation can help you settle into your range more comfortably and efficiently.
Try working through some of the exercises in this carousel using 30-second intervals, taking breaks whenever you need them.
My favorite structure looks like this 👇🏽
👉🏽 Choose 3 exercises
👉🏽 Perform each for 30 seconds
👉🏽 Repeat that circuit 3 times
👉🏽 Take a short break
👉🏽 Complete 3–4 total rounds depending on how much time and energy you have that day (switch up the exercises as you need to!)
Remember, the goal isn’t to exhaust yourself before stretching 🙆♀️ It’s simply to raise your body temperature, increase blood flow, and prepare your joints and muscles for the work ahead 🤤
