“I run online meetings where everyone collectively groans”… 😜😂👏🏽

The list goes on, these are too good — if you know, you know 😂

Also, this is a little advanced spiral transition we worked on in today’s Zoom class 💭 this class will be posted on my Patreon for my Core + members to access in my on demand library 🤭♥️ The focus this week in our backbend group class was Spirals and Twists, and it was delicious 🤤 Options were given for all levels, not just advanced, as I always try to do 😇

Save these Flying Cobra exercises for your next backbend session ♥️

These are such a powerful way to build strength through your backbends and posterior chain, firing up the entire back body while helping you develop more control and support in your deeper ranges. They’re some of my absolute favourites (I actually have to stop myself from doing too many of them, that’s how good they make you feel! 🤭)

For more guided backbend training, join me on Patreon ♥️ where we work through exercises and skills for multiple levels in my weekly group classes, and becoming a member gives you access access to my full on-demand class library ♥️ So whether you join live or not, the recordings are available for you to use as you choose!

Next backbend session is on Monday, and we can’t wait! 🥨

Want to deepen your bridges at the wall? Start with these three simple progressions 👉🏽

This bridge sequence will help open your chest, shoulders, and upper back while challenging you to use the strength of your legs. It’s a simple but effective way to get more out of your bridge practice by adding small details and nuances to your wall walk-downs—ultimately helping your backbends feel deeper, stronger, and more supported.

Last month on my Patreon, we spent four weeks progressively developing and deepening our bridges. The complete series is now available on demand, so you can follow the full progression at your own pace.

One of the best ways to build range on your splits is to develop end range strength and control 🤭👏🏽 this is a fun way to challenge your end range control in your front splits, and one of the exercises we used in one of my recent Patreon classes (now available in my on demand library if you want it ♥️) 👉🏽 give it a try and let me know how I goes, and how many you can do! ♥️

Unexpected needle scale progress ♥️🤤 (April → May 2026)

I haven’t been training needle scales or flexibility tricks in any dedicated way for a long time outside of my regular classes.

The last few months have been full of some big life experiences (all good things ♥️), and my focus simply hasn’t been on my own personal flexibility progress.

That said, for the past three months we’ve been diving deep into progressive backbend training on Patreon. And despite not specifically training this skill, I recently checked in on my needle scale and was pleasantly surprised by the progress.

Needle scale is a shape I haven’t intentionally worked on in months — possibly even close to a year. So seeing this unexpected improvement has been such a delightful reminder of how flexibility training works.

You don’t always have to train the trick itself to develop the skill.

When you build stronger foundations, improve your active flexibility, and strengthen your access to your range of motion, those improvements often carry over into other shapes and skills.

This little surprise is proof that the work you’re doing behind the scenes matters.

I hope this inspires you to trust the process and keep showing up for the fundamentals ♥️

If you’d like to follow along with some seriously juicy classes, my Patreon is packed with live classes and an extensive on-demand library waiting for you.
