•Although Africa has a rich and complex history, but there is widespread ignorance of this heritage. A celebrated British historian once said there was only the history of Europeans in Africa

•There has been a way of seeing Africa in terms of poverty and conflict which has become a kind of shorthand for the continent that still persists today."

•• My work " Aká NiLé " ( All hands ) was made to inspire my fellow Africans, that we can erase the negative reputation our world has tagged us with, if we go beyond smiling for the cameras then folding our arms when the lights are out... But we can reason together and do what's right no matter how minute, for ourselves and for the generations unborn.

Before now I used to wonder what the outcome would be if my drawing doesn't look like the reference 😌

But after hours of practicing I realized that my drawing and reference not looking alike is not an option and the thought of it shouldn't cloud my thinking!...

My mind acceded with my hands and the results thus far has been splendid ❤🍾
