Blue Bowl Pottery I make bowls for pleasure and love porcelain, finished with sgraffito designs. My designs are inspired by the African Ndoro symbol and the ocean.

I started pottery lessons whilst living in Zimbabwe, with a well known local potter named Pam Sheppard. I moved to Cape Town in 2015 and started lessons with Lorette Espi of Noordhoek Potteries, also a well known local potter. Pottery was put on the back burner while I studied at UNISA for an NDAcc. I picked it up again in 2015 once we moved into our new home and was privileged to have a dedicated studio space. And that is where this story begins. Having a fabulous work space and supportive partner and friends has been wonderful. I am participating in The Potters' Market, a bi-annual event in Cape Town, which will be a first and hopefully fruitful experience.
