“Kunene Sunset” 8x14 watercolor. I finally finished this piece from a trip to Namibia last November. This has to be the most wild landscape I have ever been to. The Kunene river cuts through vast mountains and sand dunes creating a small strip of vegetation and life. I hope to go back someday.

Over the summer I was fortunate enough to spend 9 days deep in the Frank Church Wilderness floating the Middle Fork of the Salmon. Needless to say….this place was truly magical. First of many sketches to come from this trip.
