March to Freedom – A Human Rights Day Celebration 🇿🇦✨
On 21 March 2026 at 19h30, experience March to Freedom — a powerful celebration of the voices, songs and stories that shaped South Africa’s journey to democracy.
From the producer and concept designer of The Kingdom of Ubuntu – The Musical in Concert, Elvis Sibeko presents a spectacular heritage production at the Joseph Stone Auditorium.
The evening features legendary performers Amanda Strydom, Thembi Mtshali-Jones, Loukmaan Adams and Nuur Leeman, with a special appearance by Musa M***a.
Under the musical direction of Stefan Lombard, a live band will bring the rich sounds of Ghoema, Marabi, Cape Jazz and freedom songs to life, while theatre, dance and narration honour the spirit of resilience and liberation.
Directed by acclaimed creatives Aviva Pelham and Basil Appollis, March to Freedom is an unforgettable night of heritage, unity and hope — where the past sings, the present stands proud, and the future marches forward.
