This brain injury has been the most confusing and scary thing of my life. I don’t know if I make tomorrow everyday. I wake to sleep and take my waking slow. I am happy to say that in September that poem I wake to sleep and keep my waking slow by Theodore Rothke will be written as lyrics for my new piece for soprano and orchestra and be premiered by the amazing Pretty Yende!!! Woop woop!
