My good friend Uncle Stan🫡

Stan Mars is a veteran of South African radio media with nearly three decades' experience behind the mic, primarily in the Western Cape.

He officially joined pioneering local station Kfm 94.5 on 1 April 2025 to host a new Sunday evening show from 18:00 to 21:00.

Stan describes himself as “just an average Joe from Kuils­river” who didn’t set out to follow a traditional profession but always wanted to be on radio.
He started in campus radio and mall activations, steadily building up his profile.

Over the years he became known for his big personality, distinctive voice, and ability to connect with listeners. His contributions span broadcasting, voice-acting, live MC work and promotions.
With Kfm 94.5, the station’s leadership noted that Stan “brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the Western Cape’s audience”.
