Durban Toybox Family ❤️

Based on recent reports of Super Spreader events within the Durban region, we have made the decision to postpone Toybox Durban until further notice.

We understand your frustrations, we feel them too. We’ve gone to great lengths and done our best to bring you the event that you want and deserve. While it breaks our heart to postpone seeing your smiling faces at our event, we feel it would be reckless to host the festival knowing that it could potentially put our attendees health at risk.

As much as we’d love to host the festival, the safety of our guests and staff is always our number one concern and we certainly do not want to contribute to a spike in COVID cases that might result in harsher lockdown conditions for our entire region.

We understand that some ticket holders may not want to hold onto their tickets for a future date in 2021 and as such have revised our cancellation policy. As I'm sure you can understand we have undergone significant financial expenses in preparation for the Toybox Festival event, only to have to reschedule now on a second occasion a decision we feel obliged to make.

This said we have revised our cancellation policy and would like to give ticket holders the option to either hang onto your ticket which will be valid at Toybox Festival on a future date when announced, or you can apply immediately for a 50% refund. We really thank you for your understanding as we look to navigate these unprecedented times and ultimately bring Toybox Festival to Durban but only when it will be a safe experience for all in attendance. Durban Toybox Family 💜

Phew, what a year! Thank you for being so patient and so understanding, our DM’s have been flooded with people asking if and when the festival is happening. Well, it is!

Toybox has levelled up to a two-night festival! Each Toybox ticket will be valid for one of the nights. Be sure to clear your calendars to come and play with us on 11 or 12 December! 😈

Due to the number of tickets already sold, and the current restrictions on event attendance, we’ve upgraded Toybox to run on two consecutive nights so that everyone who has already bought a ticket can attend, with space for additional attendees too! The setup (including our epic Arcade themed stage) and lineup for Friday and Saturday will be identical. So everyone enjoys the same experience 🕹

HOW IT WILL WORK: In the coming days we will allow current ticket holders the opportunity to choose which date they would like to attend: Friday or Saturday. This will be done through a simple online registration process. New ticket buyers can purchase a ticket for the day the they would like to attend. Tickets are available now for both shows.

A directive was issued during President Ramaphosa’s speech placing a moratorium on events, we therefore have no option other than to postpone Toybox Festival

We’re grateful for the immense support the event received and we’re looking forward to bringing Toybox to Durban once the moratorium is lifted and it is safe to do so.

If you have already purchased a ticket you will be able to use the ticket for our rescheduled date. In all likelihood the event will take place on Saturday 13 June, but this is still to be confirmed. We look forward to seeing you at Toybox in the near future 🙌🏼
