GalleryOne11 aims to offer an accessible platform to showcase art that illuminates, stimulates engagement, generates awareness and promotes dialog within the community. Our intimate and convivial Contemporary gallery first opened its doors in September 2017 with a programme of selective solo and group exhibitions, presenting contemporary African and foreign artists representing work across various media and art disciplines. GalleryOne11 primarily focus themed group exhibitions conceptualized and curated to address social and environmental discourse. Located at 111 Loop Street in Cape Town’s city center near the hub of the First Thursday gallery going route. The gallery provides a congenial and accessible space within which upcoming artists can expand their repertoire, refine their skills, and access a wider public audience.
