“In the stillness of time, wood meets water”, comes from my experience of being engaged in the unfolding of time, working without distraction.

My engagement with the “making” process, connects me to a stillness and “openness” of time, that runs parallel to the chronological linear time of daily life.

I am delighted to share more information about my upcoming exhibition at Sisonke Gallery. Join me on a journey where time stands still and wood meets water. I explore how we see and touch images and surfaces through paintings and sculptures. Using various materials, I invite you to discover new experiences connected to previous ways of making images; and sense our smallness as human beings as we connect to the rivers of possibility that live around us.
