What an incredible journey it has been working with this talented cast, our opening night and last night's performances were amazing. We are truly humbled by the feedback, we are incredibly happy that our message came across.

We have one last performance tonight at 18:00, head out to AFDA Theatre and join us for our closing performance, if you missed the others.

After months of preparation, this is the week we have all been waiting for. Today, we had our very last presentation for the production, and as student actors, we are very happy to learn that it went well. We are so excited and ready to host you all at our shebeen.

Look through the lens of these characters left with the psychological and physical scars of oppression in this piece filled with unfilled hopes and ambitions, friendship and dependence, dark secrets and jealousy.

Then ask yourself how far we have really come from the bo***ge of Apartheid 🇿🇦.

Using this beautiful piece of Athol Fugard, She directed this production and has been guiding us throughout the rehearsal process and our previous presentations for this play. Using the knowledge and experience that she has gained, and still is, in the industry - she was able to provide us aspiring actors with unforgettable acting experience. Her love and passion shines through, as she always wholeheartedly helped us question and develop our characters, for long hours trying to get us to understand all the hidden messages or sense found in our character's speeches. She sat with us through those stressful pre-production pitch days and helped us work towards creating this visually beautiful piece with an important message.

As a team of creatives we have worked together to create this world that we cannot wait to share with you all, very soon.
