I am delighted to be facilitating some short courses at Ruth Prowse School of Art!

Figure Drawing: Capturing the Human Form - Wednesday Evenings

This intensive introductory course focuses on the fundamentals of drawing the human figure from life. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to refresh and deepen their observational drawing skills, the course gently guides you through essential techniques — from quick, timed gesture drawings that capture movement and energy, to blind contour drawing, planar analysis, shading, and anatomical proportions. Expect a strong technical foundation with plenty of room for creative exploration in both fine art and illustrative styles.

Oct–18 Nov)
• Time: 5:30pm – 8:00pm
• Duration: 4 lessons | 10 hours total

I recently visited a client who had purchased this little painting, and it was such a joy to see it in their home. Choosing the right spot for an artwork can take time, but this one has truly found its place. An added treat for me was getting to admire their beautiful and extensive art collection.

I also couldn't help but fall in love with this wall colour; it is a warm, neutral green that pairs so well with artwork.

A little watercolour study, which functioned as a preliminary painting to my 𝘐𝘭𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦 series of oil paintings.

I have a couple of framed monotypes available.

These were made using Winsor & Newton oil paint (my favourite brand), applied to a self-cut copper plate, and then printed onto paper. Monotypes are considered "once-offs" i.e they are always unique and can never be printed twice.
