Our centre boasts a vast array of fantastic art studios, shops, a restaurant, a deli and a nursery. It is the perfect place for a relaxed meal and meander with friends, family, or just for some peaceful solitude. The Centre is one of Cape Town’s best kept secrets with over twenty arts and craft studios and workshops, a historic greenhouse and nursery, a forge, and stunning restaurant and organic deli farm shop. Montebello Design Centre is located in Newlands, Cape Town, and is the result of a financial and property bequest by Cecil Michaelis. The Project is situated in the farm buildings of the historic site of Montebello. These buildings and land have a colourful history, being the birth place of Ohlssons Brewery and Continental China. Montebello Design Centre is a Non Profit Company, with a number of commercial tenant studios on sigt.

My next KINTSUGI REPAIR workshop is coming up!

Date: 26th September
Time: 9am to 12pm
Venue: Montebello Design Centre in Newlands CPT

It includes an Introduction to Kintsugi Art, How I was inspired to start this workshop, as well as all the materials required, and guided teaching with a demo.

You will need to bring along your own small sized broken piece of ceramic (a bowl, side plate, mini vase, small pot plant. It does have to be glazed, so no raw clay items)

If you would like to only purchase a Kintsugi Kit from me with the instructions and do it at home, that is an option.
