This month, Broadway Jazz pulls into Rydell High with Wendy Henrique 🚗🎸

We're spending the whole month in the world of GREASE, T-Birds and Pink Ladies, hand jives and leather jackets, that unmistakable 50s swagger. The kind of material that makes you want to slick back your hair and strut.

Expect choreography that's sharp and syncopated, attitude for days, and music that'll have you singing along by week two.

Rustem Davidson has been deep diving into Hamlet, exploring the ways in which the soliloquys show us how Hamlet’s sense of increasing isolation within his home, compound his inner conflict and desperation, the tension between action and inaction.

Working with four of the soliloquy’s from the play, Rustem has placed his Hamlet within a contemporary setting, with the links between the soliloquys supporting this setting. Rustem’s version of Hamlet is set in an upmarket, high tech apartment.

Ethan Hartel has been deep diving into Hamlet, exploring the ways in which the soliloquys show us how Hamlet’s sense of increasing isolation within his home, compound his inner conflict and desperation, the tension between action and inaction.

This August, Broadway Jazz checks into the Kit Kat Klub 🔥🎩

As Cape Town's winter nights draw in, we're spending the month in 1930s Berlin, decadent, defiant, and dancing on the edge of it all. Cabaret is glitter over grit, seduction with a warning underneath. "Life is a cabaret" isn't just a lyric here, it's the whole class. 👯‍♀️
