Ladies, gentlemen, and others, it is with heavy hearts that we announce that SixtyNine Theatre and Bar Cape Town, formerly known as Gate69, has come to the last leg of her journey on Bree street.

Yes bi***es, we are closing.

We could go on and on and on about how sad it is, and what a shame it is, but honey, it is what it is. We have had 6 wonderful years in the heart of the Mother City and have loved every single second of it, but that’s all she wrote, folks… For Now!


And One More for the Road…

Defending the Gay Man is the last show that will ever tread the boards at SixtyNine Theatre in Cape Town. Ever.
Now, we all know that Capetonians are famous for last minute bookings and changes of plans, but now is not the time for that s**t. You literally have one last chance to get a taste of what has made us the toast of the Mother City for over half a decade, so don’t f**k it up!
The show runs until the 19th of August, and then that’s it.
Done.
Dusted.
Finito.
