Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Intern position based in Cape Town. The Intern will gain hands-on experience in special effects operating, lasers and client support on shows.
Responsibilities include prepping /testing machines, running shows , working on events , traveling around the country for shows, and learning the trade.
The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, enthusiastic about special effects and have a valid drivers code 8 licence.
Qualifications
Code 08 or higher valid driving licence.
Basic knowledge the sound and lighting industry.
Basic knowledge of DMX
Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team-based environment
Adaptability and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting
Previous internship or experience in the sound & lighting industry is a plus.
