Bright red Gazanias in the garden now! Boasting proudly their gorgeous hues (never able to compete with Nature!) Drawing and painting them in my journal gives me time to examine them and appreciate the marvels of nature so much much more....details far beyond my ability (and even eyesight!) But a meditative times of gratitude.
Also the tiny yellow "Floating Hearts" or Nymphoides indica in my fish pond beautiful in their delicately fuzzy petals. They too last only blooming for one day...frogs are invited to lay their eggs beneath the leaves, under the water....so perhaps soon there will be tadpoles vying for food, alongside the fish!

Great Sketching morning out with which had been left unattended for many years, along with the oncec beautifully fitted out old coaches. Filled with both nostalgia - of the days when the ran leisure trips between and - bit also hope with the fabulous news that the train is to run again, pending the repair of the lines and and of course the coaches!
Fingers crossed, if will come to fruition during 2026 as promised! Kudos to and all private dedicated volunteers who take it upon themselves to help clean up the area surrounding the station, train tracks.and bridge You areall stars!!

A couple watercolour and pen sketches I did this morning...blue skiesand sunshine... sitting in the shade of the trees, really quiet and peaceful with just the sounds of birds in the canopy. The perfect place to be, just a stonesthrow away from the busy main street in ! Sheer joy.. thank you and her creative team for all the hard work that keeps this green gem flourishing 🌳💚🐦🌸🦋🐌
