Here are my Monoprints, titled, “Winter.” Everything pictured is supposed to be things that we need and want during the cold, stormy winter weather 🌨️

They were done by using ink (solvent-based) and turpentine, and printed onto munken paper. 📜🧑‍🎨

This painting is currently “Untitled.”

At the beginning, we were tasked to take on the challenge of an “Artwork Mashup.” This involved finding two artworks which we were drawn to and mixing them together, hence ‘mashup.’

My inspiration for this painting came from Tretchikoff’s “Birth of Venus,” (1969) and Gregoire Boonzaier’s “Arum Lilies In A Vase,” (1940).

First semester at Ruth Prowse School of Art finished! A really positive semester for me being a first year student. I’ve learnt so much already and I can’t wait for what’s to come in the future!!
