Water Sculpture Repairs

This sculpture was made in 1990, it was one of a series of machines that used water to power them
Unfortunately many of these machines were stolen when my studio was burgled in 2000, so i was very happy to get a call from someone who had bought the sculpture in a state of disrepair and wanted me to fix it up.

It uses a machine of my own design to power small moving puppet sculptures
Everything is made in brass and bronze with the exception of the wooden beams.

As you can see I used to go to a lot of trouble on my details and finishes
i'm thinking of making some more of these water powered pieces soon.

This sculpture is one of a series of machines that uses water to power them, unfortunatley many of them were stolen and this one has happily found its way back to me for repairs
