Chanté Carstens: Rising Star from Cape Town

A talented performer, singer-songwriter, and dancer from Cape Town, South Africa, is making waves in the music scene. Born and raised in Helderberg, she discovered her passion for music through dance and has since grown into a captivating artist.

A chance encounter with her favorite artist in 2022 inspired her to release her debut single “Breathe” in 2023, followed by “My Time”. Her music has gained traction on TikTok, with over 70K views on her profile.

In 2024, Chanté released her debut EP “Transparent”, featuring fan favorites “Stay the Night” and “Slide”. This success earned her a nomination for Pop Artist of the Year at the 2025 Basadi in Music Awards.

Her debut album “Rarity” is now available on all online streaming platforms, showcasing her unique sound to the world.
