The heartbeat of society, that is what art has always reflected, revealing the stories, memories and shifts shaping our world beneath the surface.

'ECHOES OF HOME' explores what it means to carry heritage and human connection within a rapidly changing, interconnected world. Rather than looking backward, the exhibition reflects a search for grounding within the present.

In a world moving faster than ever, 'ECHOES OF HOME' asks an important question: "How do we stay connected to who we are while everything around us keeps changing? "

This group exhibition explores family, heritage and identity across Africa through three distinct artistic perspectives.

Through painting, memory and lived experience, the artists reflect on what it means to carry culture, belonging and personal history within an increasingly interconnected world.

Opening 28 May 2026.

'Morning Mind I' by Nessi Penman.

Penman’s landscapes invite viewers into spaces where the mind can pause, breathe and recalibrate. In a world filled with constant stimulation and noise, these works gently remind us that solitude is not emptiness, but peace. A place where awareness settles and balance quietly returns.

Through layered textures and luminous atmospheres, 'CONNECTION' becomes more than the title of the exhibition. It becomes an experience of presence, reflection and stillness.

The exhibition concludes this Thursday, 14 May at Christopher Moller Gallery.
