We worked with Bodylanguage Studios to create our first range of local, handmade, 100% cotton *over
-sized* T’s and crop tops designed to pair with your favourite garments.
We wanted to create a product we’d all love and find suitable to wear any time.
They’re super soft, heavy weight, dope fits!

The logos are silk screen printed with care labels inserted that ensure you can take the best care of a top quality, long lasting product.

We’d like to get all orders in by the 15th September to be collected early October.

Our team’s already been putting it through its paces and now it’s your turn.

In 1936, as the British Empire tightens its grip on Palestine, Yusuf is caught between his village home and his work in Jerusalem. Amidst Palestinians’ anti-colonial revolt, and the rise of political Zionism in Palestine, Palestinian director Annemarie Jacir powerfully shows why this episode in history is so significant.
The depiction of the revolt in Palestine 36 helps illuminate events in modern-day Palestine, including Israel’s recent assault on Gaza, which a UN human rights council commission of inquiry said amounts to genocide.

We will be serving Palestinian tea (maramyeh) & biscuits.

This month’s performance theme, Radical Ageing at the Edge, is another theatrical act of witness and protest from Tossie van Tonder — a dancing and voicing elder (71) of the Mjoli clan of the Eastern Cape.
This is not a performance of love-and-light consolation. It enters more difficult territories, asking what elderhood might become in profoundly troubled times.
What changes when we plant seeds and enrich soil for futures we will not inhabit? What forms of authenticity become possible when ageing is performed as creative renaissance?
Through dancing-voicing-the-piano and story, Tossie offers a radical affirmation of aliveness and a call for elders to show up fully in a young world.

Winter bleaches the bones. The cold permeates. Little rebellious bursts of sun aren’t enough. Intimate. But still raw. Live but almost unplugged. Something a bit different. Something sweet after dinner. Something simple yet elegant. Acts as you’ve never seen or heard before.

If you’ve seen Ugly Baby, the five-piece Post-Punk phenomena, you know what to expect: equal parts poetry and theatricality, sincerity and spectacle — chaos with heart. For Up Close and Personal they’ll be experimenting with a stripped-back, dream pop soundscape — with a bit of hardcore thrown in for good measure.
