Meet our newest puppet, Bomvu, which is the isiXhosa word for red. Bomvu was lovingly made by the talented Marelize Viljoen of Kukus Puppets and he represents the planet Mars - also known as the red planet, which is how he got his name.

Even though he is smaller than Earth, he is a strong volcano champion with the biggest volcanoes in the whole solar system! But most of all, Bomvu is tough and survives in freezing cold temperatures, wild winds, and a thin atmosphere.

Stay tuned to find out about our upcoming events where you will have a chance to meet Bomvu and his friends!
