Kan Jy Dans Spotlight : B-Boy Shady 💨
bboyshady showcased the dance styles Popping & Breaking.

💡POPPING : Popping is a dance style that emerged in Fresno, California, during the 1960s and 1970s. This energetic style is defined by the abrupt contraction and relaxation of muscles in sync with the music, a technique referred to as "hitting." It features a mix of stiff, robotic movements alongside smooth, flowing motions.

Boogaloo Sam is recognized as the pioneer of popping, having been inspired by dancers performing locking on television.

💡BREAKING : Breakdancing, commonly referred to as breaking, b-boying, or b-girling, is a dynamic hip-hop dance style that emerged in the Bronx during the 1970s. It is distinguished by its athleticism, high energy, and improvisational elements, frequently performed to hip-hop music.
