8.Cancellations, Refunds and Exchanges

1)You may cancel any booking submitted to us for tickets that have not yet been issued to you at any time prior to the date of the event to which such booking pertains, by sending a cancellation notice to [email protected] or calling our Customer Care Centre on +27 (0)11 340 8000 or 0861 915 8000. You may also cancel and return any issued tickets acquired from us at any time prior to the scheduled date of the event to which they apply by handing in your tickets at any of our Money Market kiosks. When you cancel your booking or return your tickets you must provide us with the relevant booking number. Following receipt of your booking cancellation or returned tickets, we will refund you the face value paid for the relevant tickets (or, if a discounted ticket, we will refund the discounted ticket price paid), provided that reasonable cancellation charges as determined by the Event Organiser may be charged and deducted from such refund. Unless otherwise stipulated by the Event Organiser and depending on the prevailing circumstances the following cancellation charges may apply:

Press Statement; Bornfire Music Festival

We would like to begin by saying a big thank you to all those who attended The Bornfire Music Festival yesterday and supported us.

Regrettably there was a big challenge with our sound system that made quite a delay to the event as planned. Upon investigating the Electrician found out people were peeing on the power supply that triggered the power cuts. The sound engineers and the electrician took time to sought out the power outage however they later managed with the help of other people. The hiccup continued for sometime which was very disappointing not only to you but to us as event organizers and the whole Jah Prayzah team who wanted to give it their all. Amidst all of these challenges you remained calm and we thank you for that, we don’t take it for granted. Those who have attended our previous events can testify that we always deliver an event that is value for your money, however this time it didn’t go well and we take full responsibility for it.
On the other hand the security as part of their strategy were not allowing people in and out as they pleased. As they were trying to manage the commotion that was outside as you all know there’s always those that want to benefit unfortunately on those confusions.

We also want to thank all the Dj’s, MCs, Artists Security and especially team JP for delivering a good show despite all the challenges.

We welcome all the feedback good and bad as this is the only way we can improve the service that we offer to our customers.

We are looking forward to a bigger and better event next year and once again thank you all supporting us over the years.
