Since we’re soon heading on a month-long break for September, we've added a MEGA session to the calendar to close off the season strong.
More people. More fun. More improv.

Join us for MEGA class and jam - part class, part informal showcase, where everyone gets to play and perform in a jam style format! Guided by the facilitators from The Improv Cart, this is your chance to jump into scenes and cheer each other on.

Scene Lab: Master the Art of Improvised Scenes with Tamith Hattingh

Scene Lab is a monthly 3-hour, high-volume intensive workshop for improvisors who are ready to sharpen their instincts through rigorous, back-to-back scene-work. We’re stripping away the fluff to focus on the grit: character depth, grounded relationships, emotional truth, and the architecture of a great story.

This workshop focuses on constructive, honest feedback and live side-coaching, relevant to the scene and skill level of the student, covering everything from narrative technique and stagecraft to the specific needs of your performance.

For improvisers who have a solid grasp of the fundamentals and are ready to level up.

No games, no gimmicks, just pure scenes… and lots of them!

They’ve never seen the slides. They have no idea what’s coming next. And somehow, they still have to present it.

Welcome to Pitch Slapped — fully improvised PowerPoint presentations, judged live, guaranteed to go off the rails.

Performers spin the Wheel of Misfortune for their presentation style (TED Talk, wedding speech, sales pitch — who knows), then face a slide deck they’ve never seen: wild images, weird graphs, absurd bullet points. Zero prep. Total confidence. Pure spin.

A panel of 3 audience judges scores the chaos, and by the end of the night, the highest-rated presenter walks away with the ultimate title: Pitch-Slapped Champion and win ‘The Golden Slap’ award.
