Someone from your past may be about to cross your path, and this time, something feels different. โจ
Sometimes, a memory resurfaces, an old friend reaches out, or someone you once loved crosses your path again. And perhaps this time, it's an opportunity to see that part of your life through different eyes.
Ask yourself: can I look back on that chapter of my life with love, without needing to return to it? Can I appreciate who I was then while embracing who I've become today?
Healing doesn't mean that the past no longer matters. It means it no longer has to define you. You can honour the people you've loved, the experiences that shaped you, and the versions of yourself that got you here, without feeling the need to go back.
And if something from your past finds its way back into your present, trust yourself to know what place it deserves in your life now. Sometimes, we reconnect. Sometimes, we simply find peace within ourselves. Both can be beautiful forms of closure.
You don't have to carry the past as something heavy. You can carry it as part of your story, knowing that you've grown, you've learned, and you are allowed to move forward with an open heart. โค๏ธ
What part of your past have you made peace with that once felt difficult to let go of? I'd love to hear your experience in the comments. ๐ซ
