can shine, whether they’re stepping into the spotlight for the first time or refining their skills as experienced performers. As a structured competition, we celebrate talent and hard work by awarding section and item winners, helping participants build not only their abilities but also a strong sense of achievement. While we are proudly based in the South Peninsula of Cape Town, our online platform ensures that students from across South Africa can participate and be part of our growing creative community. What an incredible journey it has been.
Over the past four days we've celebrated
bravery, creativity, dedication, and the joy of
performing.

To every learner who stepped onto the
stage—thank you for sharing your talents with
us.

No matter today's results, you have already
achieved something extraordinary by having
the courage to participate.

Over the past two days we've seen incredible
courage, creativity and commitment on stage.
Today is another opportunity for performers to
tell their stories, share their talents, and
remind us why the arts have such a lasting
impact.

We're delighted to welcome Liani Coetzee as the adjudicator
for the Western Cape Eisteddfod 2026.

Liani is a passionate drama coach, performing arts educator,
and the owner of Lavender Drama Studio. She is also the
creator of the Perservaria LSEN Eisteddfod and Curtain Call
Eisteddfod, with a passion for helping young performers grow in
confidence through the arts.

With adjudication experience dating back to 2016, Liani has
adjudicated Eisteddfods, ATKV Redenaars rounds, and public
speaking competitions across South Africa, including previous
Western Cape Eisteddfods. Her background spans drama,
public speaking, creative writing, dance, modelling, vocal
performance, instrumental music, and art, allowing her to
appreciate and adjudicate a wide range of performing arts
disciplines with insight and understanding.

Known for her encouraging and constructive feedback, Liani
believes every performance is an opportunity to learn, grow,
and celebrate creativity.

This is the month of participation.

Western Cape will step onto the stage to share their
creativity, passion, and hard work.

At the Western Cape Eisteddfod, participation isn't about
being the best—it's about having the courage to be seen,
to learn, and to grow.

certificates.

It's found in the learner who discovers
confidence for the very first time!
