Artist announcement:
is a Johannesburg based artists / Dj and co-operative called .sa . She grew up with a deep love and appreciation for electronic music after being influenced by her father who is an electronic music enthusiast.

The name Hannah REM comes from the state of sleep where you dream the most and your third eye opens within those dreams but your eyes are rapidly moving while you are deep in your dreams. She projects this with her music and mixing through the use of melodic sounds that make you feel as if you are in a lucid dream.

Artist announcement:

Born and raised in Cape
Town, Kyle Russouw has
always been immersed in a
rich cultural diversity that
inspired his appreciation for a
variety of musical genres that
still influence his sound today.
Never one to shy away from
deeper, atmospheric hues
and textures, his innovative
style is bound to take the
listener on a journey.

His own DJ journey to began
at a young age. A curious kid
he was always fooling around
with bits of technology until
one day he discovered a set
of turntables and his first gigs
were intimate backyard
parties organised by friends.
Here he began to experiment
with different sounds, audio
gadgets and mixing formats
using his modest collection of
three records. A vinyl
collector in the making he
soon turned three into many,
and turned music into a
business, supplying and
distributing vinyl to other DJ’s
around the country.
However he has come a long
way since then. Now a
regular feature in South
Africa’s house and techno
scene Kyle’s graced radio
stations across the Western
Cape, secured a residency at
ERA in the Western Cape and
been a regular guest at
Johannesburg’s . His
versatility and ability to relate
to his audience make him the
perfect choice for warming
up a room or closing a
festival stage, which he has
done at some of South
Africa’s biggest including:
Synergy, Origin and The
Cape Town Electronic Music
Festival.
Kyle’s passion, his ability to
hold the crowd, feel their
energy and move them,
figuratively and literally, make
for inspired sets. He says that
his favourite part of playing
music is taking a crowd on a
journey filled with emotion,
adrenaline, craving and an
eventual release of tension.

Artist announcement:

Cody Meyer is no stranger to the music scene beginning his sonic journey in 2010.

His career took off with a residency at a local hot-spot in Cape Town, Vice City. From there stemmed Cody's idea to start his very own successful brands called and , which host monthly events at various venues around Cape Town - best described as an 'underground techno experience' in Cape Town. From the beginning stages of conceptualization both events have since blossomed. After securing a residency at , Cody was invited to play at Truth Nightclub and, more recently, in Johannesburg, marking his territory and ultimately, securing himself solid connections for future events.

Artist announcement:
is a Techno artist from Port Elizabeth, making a presence in the Techno scene across the country, synonymous with the Techno genre as a whole. Cullen learnt to produce music on his own since the young age of 18, inspired by the sounds coming from Berlin he then started tapping into creating a raw hypnotic feel within his music accompanied with gritty leads, hypnotic atmospheres and a cyber sort of touch. Furthermore within his production and sets he keeps a constant move of distinct percussion blended with polyrhythmic synths. His pure and passionate approach to music has given him the drive to constantly improve his craft over time, with his sound being showcased on various record labels namely Underground Africa, Teknotribe Records, Death Bell Records(Armenia) and KONCEPT which he helps manage. He has shared the stage with many great industry artists in the past and played at prime events such as Underground Africa's events at AND club, LINKED and KONCEPT.

Artist announcement:

Coming from a diverse musical background, South African artist Deano has never been one to settle for mediocrity. Having immersed himself in the local music scene from a young age, he has experienced music and nightlife in different forms, many of which shape his creative output to this day.
From running a label and events series, to curating and designing most of his own visual content, his ethos has always been DIY with a strong focus on quality. With various aliases and projects now behind him, he is forging his path with a vision that is more steadfast than ever. He has numerous solo EPs and singles under his belt on a diversity of labels such as Hardgroove, Symbolism, AWRY and Sungate, some of which have included an equally diverse array of remixes from the likes of Mark Broom, Luke Hess, Tripeo, Deniro and more.
However, Deano’s Knowledge Imprint remains the primary outlet for his own productions, and over the years it has also garnered a reputation for putting out music from some of the scene’s most exciting young artists from around the world. In conjunction with this, he has hosted and debuted many of these artists for events in his country while at the same time also played host to some key veterans.

Deano is an official resident of Cape Town’s Mødular Club (the venue where he often runs his own nights) and makes regular appearances at Johannesburg’s And Club for long-standing techno organization TOY TOY. He has become known for his diverse selection and has therefore played at a wide range of Cape Town’s most well known festivals and events. More recently he has dipped his toes into playing abroad when the opportunity has presented itself.
