Introducing our next act, all the way from Durban, KZN

Felicia Pillay has been on the comedy scene for a short period of time and is already making strides. She’s performed on the West End in the UK with Masood Boomgaard, Carvin Goldstone’s Next Generation, opened for International USA comedian Dan Frigolette’s one man show, had the pleasure of gracing the stage of The Cape Town Comedy Club. She’s also performed at the Suncoast Dome with the Goliath Brothers and Joey Rasdien. Felicia has joined the likes of comedy greats Robbie Collins and Loyiso Madinga on the stage and also opened for Robbie Collins one man show in Johannesburg. She represented Durban when she was nominated for Best Newcomer and won Top Online Female Comedian at the South African Comedy Awards. Quite recently she performed in Cape Town for Savanna where only 20 comedians were chosen from around South Africa to perform. She faced adversity during covid and kept comedy alive by performing online internationally on many occasions with countries such as UK, America, India, to name a few. Felicia just wants to perform funnies out her rainbow, she draws inspiration from her own life experiences and not afraid to get real, bringing her material alive with her satire and parody style.

Introducing to the stage 👊

Aghmad started doing comedy in April 2021 when he did his first well received performance at the Lounge in Crawford. Within eight months after his first stand-up gig, he won the Elgin railway comedy competition, and the Tshisa Talent Audience choice award, and was runner-up for the Tshisa Talent Judges choice award.

He was also a finalist at the 2022 Jive Funny championships and he was recently chosen as one of the Top 20 Newcomer Comedians in SA in contention for the Savanna Comics Choice award in the newcomer Category.

He has a natural ability to turn challenges into mind altering laughter which may just replace your medication. His performances are raw and brutal, but he would also like to think that it is thought provoking and hilariously funny.

Here is her very short bio 🤣😉

Khanyisile is a dynamic, talented, animated, and interestingly different are some of the words that describe this colorful giant. Born, bred, and buttered in Soweto, this big human is a firecracker that can set any room she is thrown into, “on fire”. Though physically brittle, her unbreakable spirit pushed her to finally jump onto the stage and start telling jokes. She may not have become the medical doctor she hoped to be, but since laughter is the best medicine, she lives to heal souls, cure headaches, toothaches and whichever aches, one “haha” at a time.
