Joy is part of my healing.

For a long time, I thought peace would come when life became easier. But God has been teaching me that peace isn’t found in perfect circumstances ,it’s found in trusting Him, even when life is unfolding differently than I imagined.

As someone who advocates for mental health, I’ve learned that healing isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it’s choosing rest without guilt. Sometimes it’s laughing a little louder, stepping into the sun, wearing the outfit, and allowing yourself to enjoy the life you’re building.
If you’re reading this, let this be your reminder:
Protect your mind with the same intention you protect your dreams. Give yourself permission to slow down, to breathe, and to choose joy.

God didn’t create us just to survive.
